controller problem

I have an rp4440 running HP-UX 11.1. The initial connection for the disk array was connected to controller 0/2/1/0/4. I now need to change the disks array to connect to smart array controller 0/6/1/0/4 . I have slow backups as my tape drives on same controler. I already have data on the system and how can I change without having to loose files. On the drives I have created volume groups Vg00- vg05. What commands can I use. Please help.
