Re: early cpu selftest and mem_pdt_dup_entry
You can clear PDT from BCH:
BCH>
SER (for the service menu)
PDT CLEAR
You perhaps want to tell us :
What type of server you have?
What is the existing memory configuration? Which memory slots you have installed the new 2GG DIMMS in?
The firmware versions of your server?
Regards,
Phil

Have you got the memory loaded in the right order and in the correct slots etc?

Re: early cpu selftest and mem_pdt_dup_entry
The new ones are in 0a,b,c,& d so:
do you have DIMMS installed in Rank 2?
Specifically slot 2B....these errors indicate SBE errors for slot 2B and the message "mem_pdt_dup_entry " is indicating that the machine is trying to add a duplicate SBE entry for one which already exists for this particular DIMM.
If you do have DIMMS in Rank 2, remove the power from the machine and remove the Dimms from Rank 2 - Making a Note of which Dimm was in slot 2B.
Then power up and try to boot it.
Let us know

Re: early cpu selftest and mem_pdt_dup_entry
Also, the F/W is out of date slightly.
Once the mem/boot problems are (hopefully) solved, seeing as you have an "outage" for your memory upgrade it would be worth doing the Firmware too.
You can download the firmware here:

Re: early cpu selftest and mem_pdt_dup_entry
Im guessing you put the new 4x 2GB dimms in 0abcd and moved the "old" existing memory up the ranks, Rank 1, 2 etc.
You might want to just reseat the dimms firstly in Rank 2 and check that theres no dust in the slots.
Try and boot it.
If that fails remove all off rank 2
- (the machine will complain if you have only 3 of the 4 dimms in the rank).
If the server comes up OK to BCH then clear your pdt.
You may well need to get a new 2GB dimm for the "suspect" one.
