when i run search comman at PDC, it read p0 and p1, and then it interrupted, following is the messages:
ERROR:PDH NVRAM and I/O card NVRAM SCSI parmeters do not maatch for path 1/0/1/0/0/1/0
Search aborted. The SCSI parameters for this card must be corrected from the BCh Service menu.
and i can not find out the tape device, but in os mode, i can see the tape using ioscan camand.

Re: failed at PDC search process. urgent!
Hi,
The message is quite self explinatory itself.
I am not sure what do you mean by
>"and i can not find out the tape device, >but in os mode, i can see the tape using >ioscan camand."
But it seems that the scsi card in question is connected to a tape drive.
Verify which card you are dealing with using
# ioscan -fn and the hardware path given in the message
It should show product no if it is a add on card or else it will show something C87x etc for on-board scsi.
Since the message already shows the hardware
path , you need to set SCSI parameter of that card like "scsi rate" "bus width" from the BCH service menu. The parameters like these depends on the card hardware specification.
You should correct the mis-match for smooth operation of the tape drive.
