firmware on core I/O

how can i check the firmware version of core I/O on hp N-class servers.

hi,

probably either of these two ways

login to gsp and look at the fru option for all the cards this gives part numbers and revisions

or

boot the offline diagnostics and run the mapper utility, you will have to reboot the server for this option though.

or possibly in hpux if diagnostics are installed

and look for the core io board.

N-class server doesn't have separate core I/O firmware. Core I/O firmware is bundled to system firmware. Current N-class firmware revision is 43.43.

Instruction for verify firmware revision is in attachement.
