firware revision

Hi All!!

I need to install new bell board, How do I determine the firware revision of the existing cells.

Your urgent help will be highly appriciated.

Hi Saqi,

you can check the firmware versions by following these steps.

1. Log on to MP
2. Go into the command menu type 'MP>cm'
3. then type sysrev 'MP>CM>sysrev'

Thanks for very quick reply i want to ask one more thing,how to get the CPU version from an rp8400.

Give this command on HPUX.

echo "selclass qualifier cpu;infolog" | /usr/sbin/cstm | grep "CPU Module"

It will show output like this.

PA 8800 CPU Module 3.2
