get MP IP address

Hi All,

Is it possible to get the IP Address of the MP from OS ? Just assume if we forgot the IP and want to recover without reseting.

Get it from ls cmnd at the MP Command prompt.

COnnect to the local console through laptop or terminal and check as indicated in the previous post.

It can not get online via OS
You must connect to MP via LAN or console cable and type
LS command

you can see the IP from MP at MP himself,
MP> cm
MP>CM> ls

or at OS if he is set at /etc/hosts.

MP could be accessed within OS enviornment using "cu" with MP device file. The device file would be different depending on the type of server.

The access would require MP Admin account password.

#stty +queryGSP < /dev/GSPdiag1

the above command will give you the status of MP from OS.. but still mot the IP :-(
