how to activate serial port.
I want to connect P KVM switch to my server (model N4000-44). How to know whether the serial port is active and if active how to configure it to connect it with KVM.
Thanks in advance.

Re: how to activate serial port.
A serial port is completely incompatible with a KVM switch. KVM (keyboard, video, mouse) is used with a special video interface card (non-standard for the N4000), while a serial port is a 9 pin or 25 pin serial interface that is hooked to a laptop or real terminal.
Do you have a terminal concentrator (rather than a KVM switch)?
