Re: how to find a server hardware details along with part no
For Integrity Servers this will give you what you want, it assumes you have the diagnostic bundle loaded.
stm
select OK
select system (by pressing space)
tab to get to the top tab, select tools
Select information, then select run.
The output looks somehting like this:
Hardware path:
system
Product ID : ia64 hp server rx2620
Current Product Number : AD153A
Original Product Number : N/A
System Firmware Revision : 04.10
BMC Revision : v04.01
System Serial Number: : DEHXXXXXXX
That should do the trick.
Same process also works for PA-RISC boxes, tested on A500/2, I suspect the minimum is 64bit processors.
It doesn't work on D2x, D3x and A180C servers that I have tested.
Mike.

Re: how to find a server hardware details along with part no
Along with STM as already mentioned for newer boxes, you could just try the model command
#model
that will tell you abit more about the server, but depends upon how old you are talking about.
hpd350:> model
9000/821/D350
more info is on the cases.
you can find more info about servers in general here

Re: how to find a server hardware details along with part no
For some machines you can use the DF command from the MP to give you an inventory (DF not available on all machines)
A cut down example from a SuperDome below
MP:CM> df
This command displays the FRU ID information for the selected FRU.
Do you want a specific FRU or a dump? ([S]/D) d
A - ALL - All FRU devices in a cabinet.
B - CPB - Cell power board.
C - CIO - Core IO (contains PACI).
D - DIMM
G - UGUY
H - SBCH
I - IOB
M - PRM - Processor module.
O - IOPB - IO back plane power board.
P - BPB - Main back plane power board.
R - LSB/RSB
S - SBC
T - PDH - PDH daughtercard.
W - CB - Cell board.
X - BPS
Select FRU : a
Enter cabinet number: 0
The Entity you have selected is ALL, in Cabinet 0
Retrieving information for 209 FRU(s)
209 of 209 FRU IDs were retrieved and valid

Re: how to find a server hardware details along with part no
For the server
/opt/ignite/bin/print_manifest
For the HBA
fcmsutil -vpd
For the disks
diskinfo -v /dev/rdsk/c#t#d#
There are also variations of cstm
echo "selclass qualifier cpu;info;wait;infolog" | cstm
