Re: how to modify rp4440 mp's date and time

Shalom,

Connect

Ctrl-B

LS List functions.

HE

To see functions.

Exit help and use the command for changing this. It has its own clock and if its wrong it may be the battery and a hardware call.

Re: how to modify rp4440 mp's date and time

Next time you reboot the system, please stop at the boot menu and check the TIme command in the config menu.

Hope this helps!

Torsten.

Re: how to modify rp4440 mp's date and time

there is command in mp:date

but it only can display, and it can't set date and time.

I also think ,only way to modify MP's date and time is enter into BCH when next reboot.

But I can't find the document to address this,

anyone help?

Re: how to modify rp4440 mp's date and time

from the MP operations guide:

"DATE: Display the current date
This command displays the current date, as best known to the MP. The usual source for the date is from the
BMC, but if the BMC date is not available, the MP real-time clock is used. The real-time clock is only used
when the MP is first powered on or rebooted, until it can obtain the correct date from the BMC."

The behaviour depends of the model.
Set the BMC clock as mentioned.

Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: how to modify rp4440 mp's date and time

The BMC (the system itself) and the MP are not aware of a timezone setting.

You should configure the time in the BCH config menu:

TIme [c:y:m:d:h:m:[s]] Read or set the real time clock in GMT

Note: it should be GMT!
This time will be passed to the MP.
Your OS will use the timezone setting to show you the (local) time values.

Hope this helps!

Torsten.
