Re: iSCSI hardware initiator ... when?
I suspect the answer in comp.sys.hp.hpux would apply here as well :)

Re: iSCSI hardware initiator ... when?
HP has been thinking about an iSCSI HBA and is investigating this area, but there is currently no plan to release one.
Do you already have iSCSI? If you do, what storage devices are you connecting to?

Re: iSCSI hardware initiator ... when?
comp.sys.hp.hpux?? Nah, those guys don't know iSCSI from IHOP. :) :)
Marie:
We do not have any iSCSI attached storage at the moment, but are planning to transition to either iSCSI or FC storage in the near future. Two vendors we have looked at are IBM and Network Appliance.

Re: iSCSI hardware initiator ... when?
What is your definition of "near future" and just what are you hoping to gain from iSCSI?

Re: iSCSI hardware initiator ... when?
Did you get the answer for your question on iSCSI?
I'm looking for any iSCSI adapter that HP has for iscsi boot? NC370T has broadcom's 5706 silicon which supports this. But I'm not sure how to set up iscsi boot. Does anyone have instructions on how to set this up?
Thanks,
Puru

Re: iSCSI hardware initiator ... when?
Sorry for delay, but I finally got confirmation that iscsi boot is not supported yet with NC370T. No date provided at this time,
