to monitor CPU activity. GlancePlus can also be used.

Re: if I want to add cpu to N-class server
no offence please.Your question is so misleading. If the responders take their precious time in analysing and answering in the most appropiate and clear manner, as a questioner you need to spend some extra time framing your quistion in a non ambiguous way...that is if you are really intrested in solving your problem.....

Re: if I want to add cpu to N-class server
In a N-class it is possible to add one CPU. in a RP74X0 class you must add CPU's in pairs.

Re: if I want to add cpu to N-class server
In N-Class AND rp7400, you can add 1 CPU at a time. Make sure you add it/them in order. Also, make sure that you have adequate processor support modules to support CPUs. These handle 2 CPUs at a time. If, for example, you have 4 CPUs and you need to add another one, you need to add a processor support module as well.
rp7410 supports hardware partitioning... only that needs to be added CPUs in pairs. rp7400 and N-Class are pretty much the same, except for faster CPUs for rp7400.
HTH,
Vince

Re: if I want to add cpu to N-class server
You can carry on with one cpu also but,
pls take care it meets the requirement of
PSM ( Processor Support Modules)
