Because of performace isuues on a other box they removed a cel from one to a other 9000/800/S16K-A

unfortently after the removel of the cel we lost half the disks,

does anybody knows if I can please a cel from a other system (for example a cel from a 9000/800/SD32000) in a 9000/800/S16K-A ore are the cells for all systems diferend?

Hi,

No, you won't be able to place an SD32000 cell in an rp8400.
You *might* be able to use a cell from a rp7410 - but I'm not sure on that.

The rp7410 and rp8400 use the same firmware, cellboards, processors, and memory, so those parts are 100% interchangable. They even have the same Model and part numbers.

The SuperDome has a totally different cell board.
