mapping GSP console to tty in OS
Which machine models is it possible to map GSP so you can access it via the OS.
I'm guessing Ns and Ls, any others?
Has anyone figured it out a creative way for superdomes?
Thanks

Re: mapping GSP console to tty in OS
Hi Jeff,
It can't be accessed directly by HP-UX *except* to reset it with
stty +resetGSP
The reason is the GSP is a computer in and of itself and has been designed to only communicate *to* the HP-UX OS & not the other way around save the reset command.
If it's logged in as console you could redirect output to it but that's because it now has a getty or pty attached to it.
Rgds,
Jeff
P.S. How's life in StL?
