Re: memory freq?

They aren't.

The cell based architecture in the rp7420 (sx1000) uses SDRAM memory

The processor based architecture in the rp4440 used DDR memory.

Re: memory freq?

Thanks,

but i'm surprised when i take a look on the specs:
RP7420:
Each DIMM contains 36├Г 4 SDRAM memory chips qualified to run at 125 MHz

RP4440:
128 GB PC2100 ECC Registered DDR266A/B SDRAM (32├Г 2GB DIMMs)

I'm lost in the terminologies.
DDR266A/B SDRAM is not a SDRAM DIMM ?

Re: memory freq?

I'm pretty sure, if you take a look you will see - the rp7420 memory modules are almost twice in size as the rp4440 dimms.

Hope this helps!

Torsten.
