tried to parmodify the curent partition
and got this error: parmodufy -p0 -d1 -B
sh: parmodufy: not found.
# parmodify -p0 -d1 -B
Internal Error: Exception caught for modify.
No changes can be made because the profile is already in the process of being changed.[]"
Error: Unable to update the Stable Complex Configuration Data.
any ideas

I think you have pending changes already.
Read the "Unlocking Complex Profile Entries" chapter in the nPartition Administrator's Guide.

pending chanes were still there so i didi a shutdown -R and the cells were open for reconfiguration... Thank you
