Re: page deallocation full (PDT) FULL
if a single bit error occurs several times the system will try to free up this small amount of memory and no longer use them.
If you have an old diagnostics version this could lead to "false alarms". Check the version first. Otherwise you could really have a bad dimm and need to replace this part. Contact HP support!
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: page deallocation full (PDT) FULL
if its that full then you are likely to have some bad memory installed. does it test ok in STM?
and what does the rest of the information for the memory say?
to clea the PDT needs a reboot to pdc.
stop server from booting and go into ser menu
MA> ser
from here issue pdtclear
SER>pdtclear
then the server will reboot again allow it to boot up properly and then monitor it closely

Re: page deallocation full (PDT) FULL
Yup as Andrew says system is definetly has a bad memory dimm, would suggest you to replace it and then clear the PDT table..
Check the below mentioned command output findout which memory dimm is reporting large amount of SBE's (single bit memory errors). Have it replaced and then clear the PDT from BCH and remove memlog file from /var/stm/logs/os.
#more /var/opt/resmon/log/event.log
#echo "map selall info;wait infolog" | cstm > /tmp/cstm.txt├В ├В
#echo "gop cstmpager cat;scl type mem;info;wait;il"|cstm > /tmp/mem.out├В
#echo "gop cstmpager cat;ru l\nvd\n"|cstm >> /tmp/mem.out
check cstm and memlog outputs for possible SBE errors..
Best Regards,
Prashanth

Re: page deallocation full (PDT) FULL
There is a certain amount of PDT entries and errors allowed per memory dimm per address.
They will determine if the memory needs to be replaced or a reboot is required to reallocated the faulty cells within memory.
Can you post your PDT table?
