print jobs stuck in queue

We have a process that is sending print jobs to a defunct print queue. We are trying to determine the source of these print jobs. Is there a way to view a print job that has been sent to the print queue? Is there a directory that contains the print jobs?

Thanks in advance.

Re: print jobs stuck in queue

The jobs are queued in /var/spool/lp/request/printername. You can examine these files for clues but I would first look in /var/spool/log. My cut at this would be to issue a reject -r "Because I said so" printername and let the process that is sending the jobs start screaming.
If it ain't broke, I can fix that.
