Re: problem in booting

Manikandan,

You need to consider two things

-Upgrade the PDC to the latest version
-Change the power monitor. L-class seems to have an inherent problem with the power monitor cards.

Now to boot your system, take out the power cables and put them back.

Run stm once the system comes backup and check for the chassis logs

Re: problem in booting

Hi TG,

My guess is, It looks like either the boot path is not specified or the bus controller on which the boot disk is there is having some problem. Check for the boot path in the boot screen, try manually booting the system by interfacing with the IPL.

You can try the solution offered by Sridhar too. Might be he is right.

Hope this helps.

Re: problem in booting

Hi Manikandan,

I had similar problem and I found it is problem of Processor support module. You have replace processor support module along with Main board.

Re: problem in booting

Hi Mani,

I agree with Sanjay.First check the boot path and also see any one is changed the hotswappable LVD Hard disks from one slot to another in the system.
