Re: problem to boot in a v-2250

Hi Alberto,

You will need to place a call with HP hardware support. Looks like there is a memory DIMM failure.

Hi

Looks like there is an issue with the memory module and needs to be replace, HP can come over and get it replaced if you have a contract with them .

Re: problem to boot in a v-2250

It might be a good time to explore getting a new system, particularily if you are running 11.11 on your system. The V2250's performance, even with all 16 CPUs, is easily eclipsed by a system based on the PA-8800 at 1GHz with 4 CPU cores (2 chips). The cost of maintenance on the V2250 is much higher than that of a new equivalent system so the payback is relatively short.

Re: problem to boot in a v-2250

thanks to all for their comments. Allow me to talk them like solves the problem.

change the memory boards to the the following buses instead of the left 0 and 1 and 6 and 7 right they were as left 2 and 3 and 4 and 5 right.
this was enough, the server get up with all their 8 gb of RAM.
