processor type of a Superdome

For a running Superdome with Onlinediag installed and cstm tool working how can we determine that it is of Itanium Architecture or PA RISC architecture ?

uname -m

either 9000/800 or ia64

Hi,

run the "model" command.

For a PA-RISC system you will get something like

9000/800/SD32000

for an Integrity it will look like

ia64 hp superdome server SD16B

The
9000/800
string will always indicate a PA-RISC system,
ia64
stands for Integrity.

getconf CPU_CHIP_TYPE and then some magic to decode the number emited
there is no rest for the wicked yet the virtuous have no pillows
