Re: re : rp8420 problem
The ouput is not complete.
Some components have version 4, the newer cell has 6.4 or 6.5.
You should update the complete server to the latest version!!!
This would look like this:
MP:CM> sysrev
Cabinet FPGA and Firmware revision report
System Backplane : GPM FM OSP
------- ------- -------
1.002 1.002 1.002
PCI Backplane : LPM HS
------- -------
1.002 1.000
LPM BOB DRAIN PDHC PDC
------- ------- ------- ------- -------
CELL 0 : 2.002 1.000 1.001 2.004 17.009
CELL 1 : 2.002 1.000 1.001 2.004 17.009
CELL 2 : 2.002 1.000 1.001 2.004 17.009
CELL 3 : 2.002 1.000 1.001 2.004 17.009
FPGA MP
------- -------
Primary Core IO : 2.008 4.025
Secondary Core IO : 2.008 4.025
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: re : rp8420 problem
Consider to use "parmgr" or system management homepage!
Get the firmware bundle from hp.com, read the instructions and follow them step by step!!!
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.
