rp 7410
I have rp7410. Have 4 HDDS connected to local scsi controller( I believe). I want to spilt 2 HDDs for one partition and rest 2 for second partition. Pls guide how it can be done ? I do not have any raid controller. Only have two SCSI controller adapters with ine internal channel.
Also pls guide how to make two partition. There is no data on server

Hi,
You have to make 2 HDD on each SCSI Channel.

I suppose you rwill just be soft partitioning thie rp7410 - ie. vPar? You will need complete separation of all your IO paths...

do you have 2 cell boards and 2 core I/O cards?
do a man on the following:
parcreate
parmodify
parstatus
using hard 'nPartitions' will automatically split the drives two to each partition.
