Re: rp2470 and msa30
From what I know, MSA30, Modula Smart Array 30, formerly known as StorageWorks 44XX enclosure, for time being is not supported under HP-UX. It is designated for HP ProLiant and HP Alpha servers to work under Windows, Linux, OpenVMS, True64 but not for HP9000 servers running HP-UX. Maybe someday HP will support MSA30 on HP9000, but for me at present time answer sounds like 'NO'. DS2100 or DS2300 is to be used instead.

Re: rp2470 and msa30
is support form hp.
Others:
I have rp2600 with SCSI card is PCI Dual channel Ultra160 SCSI Adapter and MSA30.
I see that there is compatible SCSI protocol between SCSI CTL and MSA30.
It must be work. MSA30 is just disk box.
What I'm really worry about diagnostics and FW.
I know that DSXXX is supported but Bulgaria is cost sensitive.
Furst MSA30 is 14-drive enclosure. Second disk is more then 2 time cheap from DSXXX.
