rp3410 fan error

Hello Gurus,

I have my rp3410 giving me the EMS notification:
Any help?

If something is blocking the fan's rotation, unblock the fan.



If the electrical connection to the fan has become disconnected, reconnect

it.



If a fan has been removed from the cabinet, replace it.

Looks like your CPU 0 fan has failed.
Check with

MP:CM> ps

and contact HP support to get it replaced.

Hi,

As suggested above check the ps output shows any fault on CPU fan.

MP:CM> PS

Fans State
-----------------------------------------------------------
Cooling 1 (Sys) Normal -----> fan 1A,1B & Turbo Coolers for Both PA8800 Modules

Also you will have some info from

MP>SL


If found some fault on CPU fan then you may require the below mentioned part.


A7231-04014 or A7231-04058
