rp3440 and A6150A
Hi,
We have 2 rp3440's and bought the A6150B video kits to have a KMV-able setup.
One of the cards is the A6150A model and the setmon command doesn't seem to work on it. It will display the 4 modes with the setmon -r command but the setmon -s 2 won't set the resolution. Is there any work around short of having to replace the card?
Sean

Re: rp3440 and A6150A
Shalom,
Probably not.
It seems those cards are probably not supported. An HP integrator should have told you that.

Re: rp3440 and A6150A
Don't know about the "A" version, see
http://www.hp.com/products1/servers/rackoptimized/rp3400_series/supplies.html
it mentioned only the A6150B (without the USB card!).
But this page says even the "A" card is running with your server
http://www.hp.com/products1/serverconnectivity/misc/graphics/specifications/index.html
Why not place a support call?
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: rp3440 and A6150A
I found my problem. Permissions on / where not correct changed to 555 and card came up. Website starts off talking about the a but by the bottom of the page it is referencing the B. Thanks for the suggestions!
