rp3440 model string

When initializing a rp3440 the wrong model type was entered thus generating the wrong model string....is there a way to undo this with out having HP come out to do this?

Re: rp3440 model string

hi,

im not sure you can change the model string when its done, it will need hp.

you can change the product number ie A7137A within the service menu at the BCH in PDC.

you change the original and current number here.

this link may help you further
