rp4440 Scsi Backplane to Duplex

Anyone know the complexities and or gotchas of in converting the scsi backplane to duplex? Please post any know link with helpful info.

Hi,

you must buy the following kit:

A9740B SCSI backplane conversion to duplex

and read the doc:

"hp 9000 rp4440 Installation Guide" - page 59

Note if you use duplex internal SCSI you lose the SCSI external connections.

Naturally, you can always add another SCSI card if you needed the port.
