rp5470= S1, S2, S3 setting

I KNOW THAT THE S3 SWITCH IS THE CPU SPEED SETTING BUT THE S1 AND S2 I'M NOT EXACTLY SURE AND I WOULD RATHER THEM BE SET CORRECTLY PRIOR TO TESTING THE SYSTEM.
S1 IS LOCATED BESIDE CPU0
S2 IS LOCATED NEXT TO THE PROCESSOR MODULE

THANKS FOR ANY INFORMATION!

This is the best I can find, HP's CPU installation Guide. It makes no reference to these switches.

Re: rp5470= S1, S2, S3 setting

Anne,

S1 is NVRAM clear, switch 1 should be on, off means clear NVRAM, 2 is not used

S2 is actually processor speed, there should be a few on and a few off, depending on CPU

S3 is processor power, normally all off

HTH

Bernhard
