Re: rp7410 errors - see attachment

Hi Dan,

Indicates to me that you have a problem with the cellboard on that system. Appears it cannot read the firmware on that cellboard.
It's also possible that a bad partition definition has been saved to it
I would definitely log a call to HP to let them determine whether it's a HW problem (bad cellboard) or a SW problem (bad partition info).

Rgds,
Jeff

Also have a look in GSP, to see if there are any entries there. If there are, the base of each message has a hex code string, that will indicate the true problem. Once you have these, call HP

Re: rp7410 errors - see attachment

Hi Dan,

I see by your call details that you have no I/O cards installed. However the system is complaining about a problem with I/O slot 4.

FRU Physical Location: 0x000001ffff04ff83
FRU Source = 8 (I/O device)
Source Detail = 3 (local bus adapter)
Cabinet Location = 0
Card Cage Location = 0
Backplane Location = 1
I/O Slot Number = 4

It is possible that the latch for this slot is not properly closed, you should see this in the MP error logs when the cell is initializing. If all looks good with the latch then you may have something wrong with the LBA (slot Controller) which requires on site service.
