Yes you could order a RP7410 11.0 64 bit installed but keep in mind that 11.0 is out of support next year !!

According to the specifications page for the rp7410 it is only available with HP-UX 11i (11.11).

I don't think you can order the 7410 with 11.0.

hpux 11.00 will not be supported from 31/3/4 so I doubt if you could get a server built and delivered by this date. Is there any reason for not installing the latest and greatest o/s version :-) John.

If you are worried about application compatiblity... dont worry, 11.x and 11i are virutally the same...

You can even run 11i at 32bit if you have a 32bit application. Although 11i 64bit will allow 32bit applications to run as well...

Of course you would need to test your app to see if it would run properly.

All my boxes are at 11.i at the moment and had no problems transitioning from 11.x to 11i.
