As usual, showing actual commands with actual
output can be more helpful than vague
descriptions or interpretations.

How do you know that you're talking to the
right box? Do you not own an rx7620?

> Not able to get [...]

"Not able" is not a useful problem
description. It does not say what you did.
It does not say what happened when you did
it.

You first.

This command allows you to change certain fields in the Stable complex
configuration portion of the complex profile.

Retrieving the stable complex configuration portion of the complex profile.

MP modifiable stable complex configuration data fields.
Model String : 9000/800/rx7620
Complex System Name :
Original Product Number:
Current Product Number :
UUID : ffffffff-ffff-ffff-ffff-ffffffffffff
Creator Manufacturer : hp
Creator Product Name :
Creator Serial Number :
OEM Manufacturer :
OEM Product Name :
OEM Serial Number :
Diagnostic license : Disabled

Do you want to modify any of this information? (Y/[N]) n

-> No fields modified.

I just noticed.. If I modify the stable storage ,will it solve the issue?

Re: rp7420 is showing as rx7620

Probably yes, but you cannot - it is password protected.

Try a complete power cycle (pull plugs), if it remains, call HP.

Hope this helps!

Torsten.

Re: rp7420 is showing as rx7620

Shalom,

9000/800/rx7620

That is messed up.

My first thought was perhaps the system had been upgraded as there is an upgrade program for PA-RISC boxes.

If that had been done right the model number would be different.

You need to call HP on this if the reset does not work.

This would defeat the purpose of a password for something customers aren't suppose to change.
