hi,

there isnt a default password.

it is generated by HP by using the serial number of the system and other bits

you will have to call HP, some parts are interchangable, so looks like it has been wrongly configured

Likely a vendor built the server using parts from stock. The MP core IO boards can reside in either the rx7620 or rp7420. Upon power on the server will default to the MP values if no other values are found on the cell boards.

The following should change your model string to the correct value:

MP:CM> CC - choose option 'G' to build a genesis partition. This will generate a new partition profile which will update the model string found in the complex profile data.

If you need further assistance with booting the partition, etc. just post further questions.
