Guys,
I've got an rp8400 issue. rp8400 with two core I/O, I replaced the master core I/O today; after the cabinet power on, the lights on both core I/O were OK. shortly both ATT lights(the uppest of core I/O) turned yellow, and MP:CM>ps showed:
| Sys | | IO | Bulk Pwr |
|Bkpln| Cells |Chassis| Supplies |
| |0 1 2 3 | 0 1 |0 1 2 3 4 5|
---------------+-----+-------+-------+-----------|
Populated | * |* * | * * |* * * * |
Enabled | * |* * | |* * * * |
Power OK | * |* * | |* * * * |
Warning/Fault | | | * | |
Attention LED | | | | |
it seems that I should replace PCI backplane, but I also want to know would a fault master core I/O cause the Fault status of IO chassis 0. Partition configuration was lost so I could not boot partition.
Please offer me some advises.
regards
Stephen

Re: rp8400- I/O chassis 0 Fault, problem with core I/O?
Hi Stephen,
Please post the MP PS output for IO Chassis 0, as it is showing the Warning or fault status.
The PCI power module also has LEDs to check thier status:
It has Power, Attn and Fault LED
HTH,
Surendar
