Hi Shirley,

AS indicated above, your system may still be in warranty. I do not see the reason for your hesitation in logging a call with HP.
If you delay, the problem may worsen.

Also, please close the other thread where I have given replies. Always have only 1 thread open for the same problem.

Shirley, as stated the VRM is a voltage regulator module.

with the cell board out of the system & the side with the processors facing you, VRM #9 would be in the upper right corner.

Thanks all. It has been resolved by replacing the VRM.
