sam is only showing 3 processors total/active on L3000

We have an L3000 with 4 processors. I was checking sams system properties and it showed only 3 total/active. Where do I go to find out what happened to the 4th processor? Or, how do I try and "re-activate" the 4th processor?

check top or sar -m 1 1 to see that you really run on 3 CPUs only.
check syslog.log
check dmesg output

You should not just try to re-activate it without knowing what happended.

Guess this machine is under HW support contract. Open a call at HP.

Also check GSP logs
at the console enter Ctrl-b and log into GSP.
enter sl (show logs) e (error) n (no filter)

You should find some (cryptic) information there.

Thanks for the replies..It turns out that the processor was shutdown due to errors.. We will be getting it replaced.
