Re: server keep crashing during reboot

Robert,
the i/o timeout is a starting point.
Check all your cables and terminators.
Interrupt boot up at the 10sec stage and confirm the primary and secondary boot paths.
Go into the GSP (cntl+b) and check for any recent errors.

Are any of your i/o cards flashing red LED?
If all else fails use the CD to boot and scan the config for i/o errors.

Keep us informed of what you find.

Re: server keep crashing during reboot

Peter Godron, sorry for the late reply back I've been on vacation the last two weeks. When I left the problem had not been resolved I need to check with my back up system's analyst. Give me a copy of days to get caught up.
Thx

Re: server keep crashing during reboot

I checked on this with my backup lsa and here's what he found while I was out of the office, see attachment:

PS: I'm still not 100% sure this was the proper fix, those anyone agree with this resolution?
