shut down rp5470 with UPS T2200xr

Hello,

We are using an rp5470 server with HP-UX11i to store our CAD files.

To minimize the risk of a breakdown we want to use an existing HP UPS T2200xr, which will shut down the server in case of a power supply failure.

Is it possible to connect the serial port of the UPS to the GSP serial port and using the SAM UPS manager, or do we have to install an extra serial port card?
