snmp card hanging
When I like to install tis card, i do it via web (192..168.7.18) I do the setings for local network ip, gateway, subnet , save config,
and it's viewble apprx 10mins
After can be only pinging the card.No more no less.
If I use an cross cable no viewble, if I ping from webbrowser, no browsable. If I make a reset (pull out, pull in) after that can be use for 10mins again.
What would be the solution for this?
-The card seems to be good and configurable.
thnx in advace:Peter

Re: snmp card hanging
Sorry for the late answer, but I was on a cust. site for all day.
The snmp card is an HP A1359A
The ups is an HP Power Trust II LR with 2 battery packs.
The server is an HP "A" server
I attached the ioscan (I think you mean ioscan -fn and not nf.)

Re: snmp card hanging
But i've read something on "no more data displayed on the monitoring screen", and a firmware update advise :
http://h30140.www3.hp.com/object/a1359a_upgrade.html.
It seem also that this card is no more supported ...
Olivier.

Re: snmp card hanging
Thanx the info but, when I like to open the page I got this msg:
Object not found
The object you requested was not available. Either it no longer exists on our database, or you do not have the proper permissions to view it.
So, if you please send me the frmwr file to this blody card, at last I will try to update it.
Hope it will help.
Thnx&Best Regz:Peter
