I'm not well versed in solaris, but nettl/netfmt may be what you are looking for.

Re: snoop command in HP UK

Hi,

Take a look at the nettl / netfmt commands.

Here is a link from itrc on how to use nettl/netfmt to look at the network traffic,

http://www1.itrc.hp.com/service/cki/docDisplay.do?docLocale=en_US&docId=200000067002634

The itrc doc id is KBRC00001357.

Hope this helps.

Re: snoop command in HP UK

Hi,

My favorite snooper is ethereal - available here:

http://hpux.connect.org.uk/hppd/hpux/Gtk/Applications/ethereal-0.9.15/

But it should be noted that to have the best chance of capturing it all, run it on neither the source nor destination because you're bound to lose "some" traffic simply due to the loads of handling *both* the traffic & the logging. Just pick another system on the same subnet with no to little load with a decent I/O capacity.
