unknown stat of rp7410 SCSI adapter

When I exec the command "SCSI path" under maintenance menu I always get a message of "TERM":unknown and I can not set the vaule of "term" like on or default.This SCSI adapter is internal adapter which connect the hard disk backplane.I try to do on the other rp7410 I get the same result.I can start the OS so I think maybe the SCSI adapter is ok.Who can tell me the reason?Thank you in advance.

Hi,

read the "help SCSI " section of the command: a value of "unknown" means that the default value is used, thus there is no need to set it to "default". It is normal this way. Don't worry about this.

Tobias is correct. It is using default value and no need to change it. If you change it...it may develop a .

Hi,

HP systems will interrogate the console device. Make *sure* the connecting device reports an *acceptable* term type like hp or vt100 or you're likely to have problems.
