Platinum Power Supplies in C7000 G1 Enclosure - Is this supported?
A power supply question from Bilgin:
***************
Hi all,
Indeed strange, based on provided link, it seems not supported but I remember a few customers use this mixed structure.
Event on some installations I used mixed half and full servers for thermal zone #3 and it works.
But in my case as I remember that c7000 was full installed.
BTW there is separator coming to connect two half blades on the box. ( In case customer planning to put two Half Blade near to full blade.)
This not supporting little bit confused me …

Yes you can use the 2400w ps in the c7000 G1 enclosure. You will want to upgrade the OA fw first. Also all 6 power supplies must be the 2400w model – we don’t support mixing and matching power supplies in the enclosure.
