Network Time Protocol (NTP) mode of the Onboard Administrator (OA)

My customer have a question: "Which NTP mode ( slew or step ) OA is used?"

Can anyone help to answer about this question?

We have the following versions in use:

OA is 3.31, VC (Flex 10) 3.18.
