Onboard Administrator (OA) 3.21 Kernel: Out of memory
Timur had an OA issue:

Hello guys,
Having this issue with one of our customers, I will recommend a FW update for the OA, just wondering if you were able to see this behavior before.
HW ENVIRONMENT: (ALL HW Identified including any direct or non direct attached storage) BLc7000 OA FW 3.21 VC FW 3.10
Problem Description: OA running out of memory. Please see OA show all info below:
May 21 19:05:50 OA: vcadmin logged into the Onboard Administrator from 10.38.22.23
May 21 19:05:51 OA: vcadmin logged into the Onboard Administrator from 10.38.22.23
May 21 19:50:42 OA: vcadmin logged into the Onboard Administrator from 10.38.22.23
May 22 02:06:09 OA: vcadmin logged into the Onboard Administrator from 10.38.22.23
May 22 02:21:24 OA: vcadmin logged into the Onboard Administrator from 10.38.22.23
May 22 03:01:00 OA: vcadmin logged into the Onboard Administrator from 10.38.22.146
May 22 03:41:52 OA: vcadmin logged into the Onboard Administrator from 10.38.22.23
May 22 04:59:15 Kernel: Out of Memory: Kill process 4869 (httpd2) score 2404 and children.
May 22 04:59:15 Kernel: Out of memory: Killed process 4934 (hpoa).
May 22 05:00:28 Kernel: Network link is up at 100Mbps - Full Duplex
May 22 05:00:31 OA: Time zone changed to CDT+5 May 22 05:00:31 NTP: Successfully updated time/date using NTP
May 22 05:00:34 OA: LCD Status is: OK.
May 22 05:00:39 Enclosure-Link: Service started May 22 05:00:40 OA: Rebooted due to watchdog timer.
May 22 05:00:40 OA: Redundant Onboard Administrator detected.

Hi Timur,
They probably do not have the OA/Mgmt network segregated from production. Best practice is to put these on different segments (and the errors will go away). Note that the OA is 100Mbps.

I still have this problem on OA firmware rev 3.60. It happens infrequently.
Our OAs are on a different subnet than our production data network.
