Unable to update the OA firmware on C7000 enclosure

Hello,

I have 2 C7000 enclosure and I was trying to update the firmware on both. Surprisingly in one of the enclosure firmware update is failing with below error messages logged in the syslog.

"OA_Flash: Firmware image is an unofficial and unsupported release. Please verify the URL and try to flash again with a new image."

while the other firmware update was successful.

Below are the details of the OA module

OA module with unsuccessful firmware update

Firmware version: 4.40

Hardware version:A1

OA module with successfull firmware update

Firmware version: 4.40

Hardware version:B3

PS: I am updating the firmware via URL accessible image and I am using the same depot for updating both the enclosure.

Re: Unable to update the OA firmware on C7000 enclosure

As far as I know, every OA firmware release is backward compatible to the oldest version of the OA module itself.  Perhaps a glitch in connecting to the firmware image?  I assume you tried a few times though.

Any differences between the two enclosures in regards to what blades are installed?

What version are you updating to?
