Using Onboard Administrator (OA) and Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) or ActiveDirectory (AD)

Reginald had a user authentication question:

**************************

When using Directory groups/settings the local user accounts are disable. What happens if there is no domain controller to authenticate against. Can the administrator still logon the OA using the local user accounts?

Thanks!

Disabling local accounts is optional… you should not disable local accounts – unless you want no access if AD is inaccessible.
