Hp GbE2c Layer 2/3 Ethernet Blade Switch -
Good day!
Our objective is to have a layer 2 resilient/redundant connections via LACP on our 2 HP Gbe2c Layer 2/3 blade switch. Unfortunately we were unable to assign management address of Switch #1 Bay 1 location, we use the manual procedures which is the use of null modem cable to assign static ip but it doesn't recognize the mac address of the hardware via hyper-terminal. We hardly reset the switch to restore it's factory settings but it seems it doesn't work. Before this problem occur we can manually assign management ip of the switch 1 in bay1and reset the hardware., until such time we were unable to perform the assign of IP address. The 2 switch are working properly, it can communicate in/out of the c7000 enclosure & blade servers. We where thinking that the switch1 in bay1 becomes unmanage switch.. We could not figure out what seems to be problem.. Any help is very much appreciated..
thank you
