InfiniBand (IB) connect compatible questions

An Yuan had an InfiniBand compatibility question:

Dear experts ,

I have a question need your confirmation.  Are there any compatible issues between different IB vendors ?

Two  scenarios  :

1. QDR Qlogic IB cards (both blade and rack )  + Voltaire/Mellanox QDR switch
2. QDR Mellanox card(both blade and rack) + Qlogic QDR switch

Inside Blade enclosure, we only support Mellanox Mezz connected to Mellanox Blade switch Or QLogic Mezz connected to QLogic Blade switch.

We do not support Mellanox Mezz connected to QLogic Blade switch and we do not support QLogic Mezz connected to Mellanox Blade switch.

If using Rackmount servers, then we do support Mellanox PCI-e cards connected to QLogic switches.
