BL 460c G6 blade update question
Binu had a customer question:
***************
One of our customer is planning to re-use their old BL 460c G6 blade
The BL 460c G6 blade will get installed in new c7000 enclosure (which already runs BL 460c G7 and BL 620c g7 Blades)
Question
Do we need to check any compatibility issue with firmware?
Are there any know issues?
****************
Reply from Dan:
**************
Just make sure the 460c G6 gets up to a decent firmware level to match the requirements of the G7.
Its not even a hard requirement but a recommendation.
Any Service Pack for ProLiant (SPP) starting with August 2011 would be fine unless the enclosure is already past that.
