BL460c Gen 8 FCoE unstable...

When all else fails ask the internet. oh (insert deity of your insert choice ) I am so (radio edit)...

Issue:

Exchange databases fail over (at random) to the passive database.

At times only one in a day, up to three a day, some days none.

But over a two week time frame all database affected.

No abnormal events logged on blade

No abnormal events logged on Enclosure

No abnormal events logged on NetApp

Only Windows OS events logged, no help.

 

No I am not really NASA.

Switch all four blades off FCoE to plain old Fiber Channel. More that a week ago all databases have stabilized.

 

not what i wanted to do but poo happens.
