HP DIMM memory speed
Kim was looking for an explanation on DIMM terminology:
************************
Hi guys
Received the below info from Qspec for a dl380G7. I checked and the same is written for BL460G7
Why is the 8GB memory module presented as native speed 1066Mhz while looking at the specs further down, it is presented as 1333Mhz… (see yellow spots)
- HP 8GB (1x8GB) Dual Rank x4 PC3-10600 (DDR3-1333) Registered CAS-9 Memory Kit 500662-B21
Typo or do I misunderstand something?

Todd answered Kim's question:

Good morning
The 10600 is the max DIMM throughput the 1333 is the data rate.
